I grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma and studied safety engineering at Oklahoma State University. I started my career as a safety specialist at a refinery.
From there I moved into self-storage, spending six years on acquisitions and operations and helping grow a portfolio from zero to 25 facilities.
Today I work in employee safety in healthcare, stay involved in self-storage operations, and run a liquidation reselling business on the side.
